Akoni channeled the curved contours of Oscar Niemeyer’s modernist masterpieces for its Lynx silhouette. Complementing the natural curvature of a woman’s face, each bend of the acetate cat-eye frame is deftly mirrored by those of the precisely fitted lenses. Just like Niemeyer, the Lynx makes clear that modern and innovative design can also be sensual—especially when avoiding straight lines and right angles.
